Sausage Broccoli Bread
Family loves this recipe. I make my own dough with the bread machine. Today I diced 3 ripe tomatoes in place of the canned tomatoes, and didn't include the seeds and "juice" when I sauteed the veggies. Found the fresh tomatoes make the filling less soggy and more "energetic". Remember to let the dough rise after adding the filling! Yum!

Tomato Soup Cake I
Made the recipe with all-purpose flour (not self-raising). Cake didn't rise much, but still had a light texture. Cake was a bit salty. Will try with less salt next time.

Raspberry Peach Crumble
I found this rather tart, but the kids loved it (go figure). I doubled the recipe and barbecued in a 9x9 pan. Also added some (1 tsp per recipe) cornstarch to the sugar that went over the fruit. This thickened the juice into "pie filling" consistency. Yum!
