My father's side of the family was Eastern European so I have lots of memories of cabbage: cabbage and noodles, sweet & sour red cabbage, cabbage rolls.... My beer bread has been a universal hit anywhere I've taken it. I also make a mean lasagne. My biggest cooking tragedy is that I can no longer shop the amazing butcher shops in the West Side Market in Cleveland. I've never found that quality of meat anywhere else I've lived.
