About this Cook
I developed my love of cooking from my mother. I never cooked in a restaurant until I bought a tavern a few years ago. Baptism by fire...
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook just about anything. Although I'm not particularly creative, I love the dicing, slicing and chopping.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Sunday spaghetti dinners of course. Gravy simmered all day, meatballs, sausage and pork ribs, mmmm...
My cooking triumphs
I've been told that my meatloaf is awesome. Even a vegetarian loved it!
My cooking tragedies
My first St. Patrick's Day at the tavern, I made corned beef and cabbage. The beef was dry and tough. Sheppard's pie was much better...

Creamy Red Pepper Soup
Great soup! One of my personal favorites. Sometimes I roast my own red peppers but jarred peppers work quite well in a pinch. I added a little more garlic to suit my own taste as well. I make this soup and serve it at the tavern my wife and I own. It's a crowd favorite! Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Holiday Poke Cake
This is a blast from my past... My Mom used to make this Jello cake for each of us on our birthday. My brother and I were just talking about this a couple of weeks ago. It was something we always looked forward to.

Whiskey Crab Soup for a Big Party
Awesome crab soup! Made the full batch for our neighborhood New Year celebration and it all went. Will definitely make smaller batches all year long.
