About this Cook
I'm a stay at home mom to one adorable little boy. I keep telling him he will make a great husband one day because he's my side kick in the kitchen. I love to bake. Thank God I also love to exercise! I enjoy trying new recipes and eating out at nice quiet restaurants with my hubby. I'm always looking for new recipes to try. My husband keeps telling me what about the ones that you make that I like, I never see them again. Ohhhhhhhhh well, he should be happy I cook since most of my friends don't!
My favorite things to cook
Love to bake cookies! Hey that's why they call me Kelly Krocker!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mother's Day brunch. It makes me so happy to see my mom, mother in law and my aunt sit around a table and enjoy a great brunch that they didn't have to cook.
My cooking tragedies
Ask my husband about the meatballs that I made him when we were in college. I broiled some meatballs (why I don't know) and they were as hard as a baseball. We threw them off of my fire escape and heard them thud in the snow. I still laugh at that story. And he still married me!

Roasted Beets 'n' Sweets
We receive beets from our csa and I'm always looking for new ways to make them. This is a great side dish. Will make again

Kale Puttanesca
We receive lots of kale from our CSA and I'm always looking for new ways to use it. This is a great healthy dish that everyone enjoyed. I didn't have anchovy and the dish was fine without them.

Blueberry Walnut Salad
Yummy! I added some apple and you must toast the walnuts to bring out their flavor. I only had balsamic vinegar dressing and that worked well.
