I am a full time graduate student, so having the time to cook is hard to come by these days.

I like to cook healthy meals for my husband and I. I avoid processed food and go for organic and local foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up eating alot of Middle Eastern food, and to this day I like to make hummous, baba ghannouj, and kibbee.
My cooking triumphs
I made a wonderful butter-wasabi zip sauce for tuna one evening, and now my husband requests it constantly for everything!
My cooking tragedies
I wanted to make a cherry pie for my mother's birthday, and used the disposable aluminium pie plates. Well, the pie plate burned and so did the pie, right down to the cherry filling!
