Love this recipe! I used Stub's bbq sauce mixed with some Sweet Baby Ray's and it was perfect. Easy and very tasty...

Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2009
So good! I followed other reviewers' advice and used the Chocolate Frosting I recipe on the top of the brownies and they were excellent. They are chewy, but still have a nice, thick almost-cakiness (I am sure that's not a word!) consistency to them, which I prefer in a brownie. I definitely recommend these.

Excellent Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
My family and I really enjoyed these cookies! I am not a big fan of nuts, so I added a 1/2 cup of semi-sweet and a 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips into the batter and they turned out great. These will definitely go into the cookie rotation.

Deep Dish Brownies

These are awesome! I love cake-like brownies and these are the best. I definitely encourage adding a little more unsweetened cocoa powder... probably more like 2/3 or close to 3/4 cup.

Warm Chicken Ranch Wraps

Not my family's favorite. I thought it needed a little something to spice it up as it tasted a little bland.

Peanut Butter Cake VI

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
My family loves this cake... it's a great one to take to potlucks, etc as it isn't too rich and has a nice peanut butter flavor. My mom made this exact recipe when we were growing up and I was very happy to find it on here.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

I didn't like these at all. They tasted way TOO gummy and the next day they were worse! They didn't taste like cookies, or even cake-like cookies and I ended up throwing away the whole batch the next morning.

Busy Day Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
This was okay. I used another reviewer's suggestion and mixed everything together with chicen that I par-boiled first, but the dry onion soup mix was too much... and I didn't even use the whole thing. I thought it made the whole recipe taste like the soup mix. I would try it without the soup mix and add some veggies and maybe french-fried onions on top to give it some crunch. It tasted a little mushy to me.

Texas Sheet Cake V

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2008
This is the best recipe! I took it to a pot luck at church and my pastor was licking the frosting that had stuck to the tin foil that I had used to cover it during my trip to church! It really is that good! :) Be careful to really allow the ingredients in the sauce pan to cool enough or you will "cook" the eggs in the bowl when you add them together and you will see little flecks of that in your cake. I was in a hurry the 1st time I made it and made that mistake. It was still good, though! I have rectified that mistake in the MANY subsequent makings of this recipe!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2007
I am now buying one bunch of bananas for my family to eat and one to ripen so that I can make this bread! My family and friends fight over who gets part of this loaf (I had a friend bring me ripened bananas so that I would make her some!) As someone else suggested, I coat my loaf pan with a dusting of white sugar after I grease it. GREAT RECIPE!!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2007
My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. We are of the mind that not everything has to be over-spiced, so I don't agree with the other reviewer on the "bland" remark. Add a little extra salt (and I used a yellow onion, rather than the green...) and it's a nice, easy meal to feed the family on a cold evening. You can't go wrong with broccoli, rice, and chicken in my mind...

My husband says it's the best cake I've ever made! I did use the cream cheese frosting as some others suggested. Thanks for the recipe!
