Barbara's Golden Pound Cake

I made this the Saturday day and had to make another today it went soooo fast. The only thing I changed is the lemon extract to orange. I accidentally doubled the butter in the recipe, but it still turned out great.

Great recipe. I also ommitted the pre cooking step. I actually used frozen whole green beans unthawed. Still turned out awesome. This is a keeper.

Sour Cream Pound Cake

I doubled the recipe ,added 2 tblsp of vanilla. This filled my bundt pan perfectly. Also, to get it rise further; I whipped the egg whites and folded them in at the end.I will make this again and again.

Cowboy Cookies III

My husband loves these cookies. I made a few changes. I chop the oatmeal in the blender before mixing it in. My hubby likes a smooth cookie. Also , I don't add nuts. My daughter has an allergy. And finally , I freeze the dough before cooking. This makes the cookies ooey gooey in the middle and crisp on the outside.

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

I think I know why everyone complained about density. The measurements for the flour are for sifted flour not the amount to be sifted. Sift the cake flour and then measure the amount to be put into the cake. The batter seems to be runny, but bakes up fluffy
