I'm an executive assistant who's very involved in my church. I love the Lord and I teach a Sunday School class, work in the church nursery and our church web ministry. I love to crochet & knit and spend time with girlfriends (shopping, watching movies, going out to dinner). Cooking tires me so I prefer one-pot meals (e.g., chili, red beans/rice, soups, stews, casseroles). I also don't have a lot of extra time to spend cooking, but I'd like to do (and learn) more. My grandmother, mother, aunt & sister were or are all great cooks. Although I can make good food, I don't have a lot of time to spend on it. Hopefully, this website will help me to improve. My first apple pie was wonderful. Took it to a church meeting and everyone loved it. No tragedies really. Some of our best lessons come from our mistakes.
