Have been retired 4 1/2 years, married for 34 years. We have a son, a daughter and 3 grandsons. I volunteer with the Red Cross. Am part of the disaster team, as well as do office work for them and love it!I am a collector of frogs

Am not sure I really have any favorites. I like to do anything from meats, to pasta to desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Guess my fried chicken could be considered a tradition, as well as Turkey at Thanksgiving. Bar-B Qued Ribs on the grill and the best chicken soup to be had

Learning how to clean and cook a turkey, along with making lumpless gravy!
My cooking tragedies
Cooking a Turkey with the insides-still inside. Serving gravy with lumps to which a guest trying to make me feel better announced that having lumps in gravy showed character!
