I'm a fifty-three year old father of two nearly grown daughters. I still have a drop or two of peter pan blood inside, probably helped kept alive bye either the 18 or 22 year olds I've yet to successfully kick out of the nest.
I really do love to cook. I work on a computer all day. There's something totally relaxing in preparing family standard or new recipes. From the reading, shopping, prepping, cooking, and of course the eating.
I'll eat just about anything, and try cooking anything once. At our home any new recipe needs four thumbs up to stay in our ever growing recipe book.
My favorite things to cook
Anything of course on the grill.
Stir fry.
Chicken Chili Soup.
Omelettes.
Chicken Scampi.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We all kick in with the cooking duties at our house. Sort of an extension to the 'tradition' of "Everyone is home for dinner"

Pulling together any meal, from salad to dessert, that garners 4 thumbs-up.
