Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
yummy! i did german chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting i did use the whole can so as to be sure all cake was moist to mix well.( doing while still warm is a must) to hold together well. i then froze them for 20 min. then dipped them. I used tooth picks and fork -did some in chocolate dip and some in white dip. the chocolate dip was better as my bowl fit in the simmering water pan better and that kept it melted i microwaved it first then in pan of water to dip. The party is Sun. so I'll update and let you know how they went!

Spiced Apples

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
Yummo so good and easy-- I have a apple slicer/corer so they were in the pan in no time- yes I used a fry pan instead of a microwave I also use 2 small boxes of the cinnamon red hot candies as one box was about 1/8 cup . I also used 2 packets of splenda instead of sugar It saved calories and is diabetic friendly. I really like them warm right out of the pan!

Polish Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2008
I made these for my Tuesday card club lunch and all the ladies liked them I found the joes easy to make and delish. I made half a recpie as there are 6 of us. I couldn't find sauerkraut with caraway seed so I added 1tsp. caraway seed with the sauerkraut. My only change next time will be the rolls the kaiser ones ( to me) are just to much bread ( I'm not a bread fan). Thanks Laurie for a different sloppy joe that is oh so good!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Excellent! Fllowed recipe for most part --used a bit more sugar didn't even measure amount and add 1/4 tesp. cinn to berry mixture and dough. I did use a fry pan but not cast iron --stainless steel with T-fal came out great. check your pans before using. Thanks for great dish
