About this Cook
I love cooking, and I love food! I started baking basic cakes and brownies from the box when I was about 12, and I slowly got into more complex recipes. I love trying new recipes and cooking for other people.
My favorite things to cook
Anything with chocolate and sugar. I love making desserts and meals that taste great and are also healthy. Beverages like latte's and hot chocolate are wondeful because they're usually simple and amazing. :]
My favorite family cooking traditions
Everyone in my family has their "famous recipe" and its fun getting together and making them for each other. I love big family meals around the holidays. Cooking at 3:00 AM with my friends is always a blast!
My cooking triumphs
It feels great when you use a complicated recipe and it turns out perfect and delicous.
My cooking tragedies
Making dumplings for the first time, with a terrible recipe. Also making Yorkshire pudding and almost setting my oven on fire.

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
These are tasty and flavorful, not to mention very easy to make. They are not AMAZING but definitely yummy. A perfect treat for a potluck or gift.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
Okay these were amazing..plain and simple. I didn't change a thing, I baked them for 10 minutes and they were very soft when I took them out, almost too soft. But after cooling for a few minutes they are downright delicious. Excellent recipe!

Brown Sugar Cookies II
These are so unbelievably good! Very tasty, I halfed the recipe, added chocolate chips and nuts and made chocolate chip cookies! I suspect the other variations are amazing as well. A winner recipe, very easy.
