I love to bake - especially cookies. The more complicated, the better. But I tend to stick to my tried and true recipes because I don't have enough time to experiment. And I have to know that what I am making will come out good. I tend to have company often and I do my best to keep up my reputation as a good cook. Baking Hannukah cookies. And hamantaschen Purim time. I made a chocolate cake in a pretty bundt pan to bring to a friend's party. When it would not come out of the pan nicely (even after greasing and flouring), I turned it into a death by chocolate trifle. It was the hit of the party and there was not a drop left over. My most recent attempt to make a chocolate fudge cake - it came out like soup!
