Pleasant Pork Chops

This was fabulous despite the fact that I forgot to reduce the sauce. The sauce was thin but it was still delicious. I would like to try this out on chicken next time.

Carolina Style Low Carb Barbecue Sauce

This has way too much vinegar in it and I didn't like it at all but I didn't want to throw it away. I added so many more ingredients to this sauce to make it tasteful for my family that it is now a totally different recipe.

Stuffed Mushrooms IV

After making the filling, I thought they lacked flavor so I am giving the recipe only three stars. I added garlic powder, onion powder and parsley and they tasted better. After baking them, I gave them a generous sprinkling of parmesan cheese and topped each with provolone. I baked them an additional couple of minutes until the cheese melted. Tasted delicious with the additions.

Salmon Salad

I love salmon but up until now, I have never had salmon salad. I wasn't wowed by it. It seems like it needs something; maybe because of the fat free mayo. I added minced shallot, dill, lemon juice, and finally more capers, tasting and mixing with each new addition. I served it in pita pockets with mixed greens.

Melt-in-Your-Mouth Broiled Salmon

This is delicious. The sauce ingredients were enough for a 2-1/2 lb. filet. In fact, I think next time I will decrease the amount. I can't imagine having all of that sauce for only four 6 oz. filets unless you plan on pouring it over rice. I would like to try this recipe on the grill next time.

Sticky Sesame Chicken

We liked this but I would have liked it better if the sauce was thick. It never "glazed" for me. Instead, it was very thin. I will make it again but I will cook the sauce first and thicken it with cornstarch before pouring it over the chicken.

I think that this is a good sauce but I didn't like the flavor of the thyme in it. For me, it overpowered the sauce. I will try this recipe again without the thyme.

Cherry Hazelnut Biscotti

These are delicious. The dough was very sticky but I sprinkled sugar on top to mold the loaves and that helped a lot. The loaves baked very nicely and did not break apart when sliced. This recipe is a keeper.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

I used boneless chicken breasts and only had to bake the chicken for 20 minutes so the sauce never caramelized on the chicken. I did broil it for a couple of minutes at the end. The chicken was delicious nevertheless. Next time I will cook the sauce to thicken before pouring it over the chicken. Great recipe. Thanks for sharing.
