I'm a college student majoring in Food and Nutrition. Hopefully in a few years I will have a job as a sports dietitian. I don't particularly like "American" food like hamburgers and steaks. Mostly I cook Asian-inspired dishes and/or vegetarian foods. All the cooking genes seemed to have gone from my grandmother to me and skipped everyone in between! A weird combination, but I love seasoning food (seeing what spices/herbs go with what foods and making them taste good) and desserts. Pies, cookies, brownies, you name it and I love to bake it! One time I was making a lemon jello cake for a church function and I realized after it was too late that I didn't have lemon jello, I had lemon-lime jello. I went ahead and used it but instead of a nice yellow cake I had a bright lime-green cake! Note to self: lemon lime is NOT the same as lemon!
