About this Cook
My mother was a chef, she passed when I was 12, but my older sister learned a lot. So she passes down to me what i missed. But she would be damn proud of my cooking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas cookies.

Ground Turkey Noodle Bake
I was sooo surprised how good this came out. I doubled the recipe, used whole wheat noodles, fresh broccoli in the noodle mixture, and shredded some carrots for the sauce to add veggies. My husband and 19 months old son even loved it. Def. make this again.

Creamed Cucumber Slices
these were deelish. the only reason i gave 4 stars is because i would use 1/2 cup mayo instead of 1. it was to thick and i had to add more milk. and i use some dry dill too. but my 19 month old cleared them off his plate.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
with all of the reviewers advice i took it came out great! i got 5 loafs using 6x9 loaf pans. I used nonfat sour cream, a dash of ground cloves and nutmeg, 2 cups of sugar in the raw (instead of 3 cups of white sugar), about 7 ounces of semi sweet chocolate chips and baked it at 325 for an hour. these are perfect for freezing, baby on the way and i wont have time to bake for awhile.
