I'm the bread winner, so I don't have a lot of time to cook. But I keep hoping the housework fairy will clean my house so I have time to try some new things. I love to try new recipes, but desserts are my forte. I have a "standard" meal for every holiday. If I vary from it, one little bit, my grown children complain! I there is a cake that I dearly love, that I got from a magazine. It is time consuming to make, but it is gone in a flash. I made some strawberry bread.....using a tried and true recipe.....just substituting the strawberries for the bananas........tasted good, but looked like raw meat inside.....ugh.
