I am the mother of 4 sons ages 17-9. My husband and boys love my cooking. They are my greatest critics whether it's good or bad, they tell me. They love the cottage cheese enchilada, and turkey pot pie recipes I have used from Allrecipes. I own several of your cookbooks. They are a great investment.
My favorite things to cook
I love making anything Italian or Mexican. I also like to experiment with alchoholic beverage recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The favorite cooking tradition is trying to make my mom's stuffing just like she does every year for Thanksgiving.
My cooking triumphs
I have had many triumphs because of this site. The reviews that are posted have helped me hone my recipes to the point of perfection.
My cooking tragedies
I just can not get a pork chop tender unless I fry it. I will fry them occasionally, but I would much rather bake or grill them.

Cola Pot Roast II
Always turns out perfect. I buy low sodium gravy mix and use the whole packet. Tastes great with mashed potatoes and a green salad. The only change I made was cream of potato soup for the mushroom soup.It just seemed the right choice. It's awesome. I have made it with mushroom soup, still awesome. Great for leftovers the next day.

Stuffed Roast Turkey
This is the exact recipe I was looking for. I added extra sage (personal taste). I don't make my gravy this way though. I use turkey drippings and cornstarch. My 4 sons love this recipe. We never make a turkey without this stuffing.

Washabinaros Chili
This chili has been a staple since I found it here on the site. I rarely make any adjustments at all. It is loved by all of the 5 guys in my life. I leave the lid off so that the chili will thicken just right.
