I'm a student home for the summer and experimenting with recipies since I've got a lot of time on my hands. My family loves it... I love making desserts and baked stuffed chicken dishes. Although, I've made some salsas, appetizers, seafood and asian dishes. What I love to eat, I love to cook. I don't like to be stuck at the stove right up to the moment of serving...so baked dishes are great. My mom is an excellent cook, and makes excellent Italian staples like lasagna and spaghetti. She's also always made cakes from scratch. I've been cooking up 5 star recipies and every night I cook it's like "going to a fancy resteraunt!" My first cheesecake (Irish Cream) was a huge hit. None yet. Have somehow managed to salvage things I mess up...I cut corners and sometimes I pay for it - like forgetting to drain frozen things before adding to a sauce. Not so creamy anymore!
