Pumpkin Cake III

So delicious! Made as written except the substitution of apple sauce for some of the oil. Thanks to other reviewers for the Cream Cheese Frosting II recipe - I'll make this again and again.

Grandma's Rice

This tastes like what Rice-A-Roni wants to be when it grows up. Next time I'll cut down on the butter and add a little less liquid. It was a bit wet for our tastes, but delicious.

My Crab Cakes

Indoor S'mores

Maybe it's all the real s'mores I've been eating this summer, but I thought these were a real disappointment. The choco/mallow mixture turned into a bland and greasy taffy. It would have been much better to leave some chocolate chips and marshmallows to mix in at the last minute.

People were scraping the bottom of the bowl to get every bit of this delicious stuff. Let the flavors meld overnight, but be sure to take it out of the fridge at least an hour before you plan to serve.

So salty, but what could I expect with both chicken base and chicken broth in the recipe? I cut the chicken base down by a third, but it was still too much. If making it again, I'd use half water/ half low-sodium broth.

Spinach Quiche

I can't get over how delicious this is. I prepared exactly as directed except for subbing olive oil for butter and using a little extra shredded Cheddar. Looked and tasted fantastic.
