About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love baking! My favorite things to cook are cookies, muffins, scones, cakes, and gourmet desserts (baklava, crème brulée).
My cooking tragedies
Once a friend and I tried to make lemon souffles in the lemon rind. They looked adorable, but just tasted weird!!

Easy Vegan Whole Grain Pancakes
These were pretty tasty, I used regular flour and added some wheat bran since I was out of whole wheat. I added chocolate chips as well, mmmmm...

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers
I'm eating my burger right now and it is delish! I followed the recommendations to dry the beans and onions, and that may have helped mine stay together. I also threw in some veggie crumbles and oatmeal. I didn't have to chill before baking, but this probably have helped the burgers firm up a little more. Definitely try this recipe!

Salmon Croquettes
These were tasty and so easy! I added some old bay since one of the reviews mentioned that they were a bit bland. I used dried dill as well, about 1 tsp's worth. I felt like I could have added more since the dill flavor was still pretty subtle. Fresh would probably give it more of a kick.
