Dry (and cooked for less time than writted) and flavorless.

Yum! Add strawberries, too, if you like them!

Thai Curry Tofu

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2007
I think this dish is very good with the following changes: much less of both salts (to taste), less cilantro, add one third of a lemon's juice, add hot pepper flakes (to taste), add a little more curry, top with chopped green onions. Thanks for the yummy recipe and thanks everyone else for the good alteration suggestions!

Good. Could be a bit more goo-ey for my taste.

Tofu Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
I was thinking about giving this recipe a four, because it was quite good but not *the* best salad or tofu that I have ever had. The bf, however, stepped in and said "Give it a five! This was really good and tofu normally sucks!" Hah. :) Thanks for a very nice recipe.

Teriyaki Chicken

I don't eat meat, but the bf *loved* this one. He said that it tastes like his favorite Japanese restaurant chicken. I did make the changes of using only chicken breasts and then, obviously, cooking them for less time.

Hot Artichoke Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Everyone at the party *loved* this...even the hate-to-eat-green-things-guys. I served it with smallish pieces of pumpernickel bread and carrots. I didn't have any frozen spinach, so I used 5 oz. (instead of 10 oz.) of *fresh* spinach. I actually just threw the spinach mixture in the food processor with everything else for a *very* brief pulse, so that I wouldn't even have to chop up the fresh spinach. This was wonderful. One of my friends from out of town told me that I must make this dish every time we get together.

Crunchy Mexican Meatballs

I didn't have any turkey, so I used beef. My boyfriend thought that these were quite good, but that the sauce was an absolute must. (I'm a veg., so I didn't partake.)

Pretty good and quite easy. You can wrap these in vegetarian bacon, too, but you might have a bit more trouble getting the egg bakes out.

WAY too rich...and I *love* PB. I think that it would make a good sauce for rice, though, if used in serious moderation.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2006
These were just okay. I thought that they were rather bland and the there wasn't any sort of exciting texture to speak of. They were a little better with lettuce and taco sauce. If I made these again, I would definitely try adding some cayenne pepper.

Delish! This sauce reminds me of a sauce that I really like at my favorite Chinese food place in the U.S. I tossed the broccoli and sauce together in a bowl to make sure that it was well-coated.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2006
Mine came out perfect with no cracks. I did all of my mixing by hand with a wisk, and had no trouble at all. I did not have the correct pan, so I just used a normal nine inch circular pan and used less crust materials and less filling. I *never* opened the oven, cooked it for 50 minutes (because there were less ingredients than called for) and let it sit in the unopened oven for five hours. It is *very* tasty, but not *quite* as good as my favorite cheesecake that comes from a candy shop downtown.
