About this Cook
I am a college student majoring in nutrition, but I have a huge sweet tooth! I love running, cooking, and eating. I will try any dish once. Favorite foods: dark chocolate, ice cream, salmon, avocado, fresh summer tomatoes, red bell pepper, eggplant, fresh pineapple, berries, and all cheeses :) Least favorites: peanut butter, mayonnaise, olives, and anything too spicy
My favorite things to cook
Baking is always the most fun...pancakes, cookies, brownies, muffins, yum!
My favorite family cooking traditions
When I used to stay over at my grandparents house when I was little, every morning my granddad would make smiley face pancakes. You just draw a smile and two eyes with the batter on the pan, let it cook for a minute, pour more batter on top, then when you flip the pancake it smiles at you!
My cooking triumphs
My roommate and I made some brownies and put a layer of dark chocolate bars in the middle. They were indescribably incredible. Especially with coffee ice cream and whipped cream. We call them orgasm brownies :)
My cooking tragedies
In home-ec class in 7th grade I added powdered sugar to this cookie cake we were making instead of flour (the container wasn't labeled!). It bubbled up like crazy in the oven and completely overflowed into a gooey mess... whoops!

Autumn Harvest Cookies
These were exactly what I was craving! Very delicious! My roommates and I are enjoying them a lot. I used apple pie spice instead of pumpkin pie spice because that is what I had and they turned out great! I will probably have to make a new batch in a couple days...these are going fast!
