I'm forty-five,I work in a bakery, I live in a house with my DH, no kids, just the pets, two cats, two dogs, thy're very entertaining! We like to garden,like to go boating and fishing, not that we ever catch anything. lol I love to cook, DH is a willing guinea pig. Also, like to read and watch T.v.! my favorite things to cook are casseroles and lasagnas etc. I've been experimenting with ethnic foods, which i've learned i like, but i don't want to go to much trouble, the easier the better! lol We like variety, and i sometimes have trouble coming up with something interesting to try when i'm tired from working all day and have a limited amount of time to get it done I make a very good chili, and am a big fan of soups, although they're not DH's favorite I don't have much in the traditions category. My mother did not share my love of cooking so i was a late learner! Had a roommate for some years, we made what were then, and still are the most awesome nachos known to man. I went on an experimenting binge one day and came up with a wonderful mix of fresh broccoli, parmesan and garlic sauce, swiss cheese, chicken and pasta . Turned out wonderful, and after sharing with friends, i still get requests for. I also make a crock pot pizza that i'm told is to die for. It is the one thing i make that is recipe requested more then any. It's famous at DH's pot lucks, I've never really tried it because there's never any left!lol Hominy, ugh!
