Grilled Pork Rub

I would really like to give these a 3 1/2 star rating because my husband liked them better than me. So me a 3 and him a 4. These weren't bad but because all of the rave reviews I was hoping for something a little better. I think I will cut the chili powder down to 1 teaspoon and increase the brown sugar next time.

Best Brownies

I really liked these. My husband though said they had a weird taste so that is why I am only giving them 4 stars. That's OK because that leaves more for me! The only change I made was that I doubled the recipe.

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

This was a yummy soup. My husband raved about it and he never likes any type of soup. I did add some things to it so that it why I am only giving it 4 stars. I added a can of black beans, a can of diced tomatoes, and another can of chicken broth instead of water. It seemed a little too thin so I added some cornstarch but I cooked it on the stove which might have been the reason for that. Overall very good and I will be making this again this winter. Thanks for the recipe.

Norwegian Waffles

I only put in 1 egg because that is all I had but the batter was very runny. I prefer it to be a little more thicker. I also like a more crispier waffle. These do work in a pinch if I run out of Bisquick.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

This was pretty good! My parents were over this weekend so I served this for dessert and everyone really liked it. I have liked some other pudding and chocolate recipes a little bit better but this still yummy. I liked that it was easy and quick to make. I did end up using almost a whole box of graham crackers. Thanks for the recipe.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

This wasn't too bad. My husband didn't like it as much as me so that it why I only gave it 3 stars. He isn't too fond of cooking chicken in the crockpot because he says it always tastes like "crockpot". I shredded the chicken when it was done cooking and probably won't cook it as long next time but I will be making this again since I like to do as much crockpot cooking as I can. Thanks for the recipe.

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

These were great! My husband and I really loved them. I cooked the potatoes first in the microwave the night before and made them up. I refrigerated them until I was ready to bake them in the oven. I then baked them for about 25 minutes. Very yummy! I had never scooped out potatoes before so that was a little hard but well worth it. Also I used real bacon bits instead of real bacon. I will be making these again because it is a nice change to regular baked potatoes.

Ham and Beans

I made this for my husband and myself. My husband couldn't eat it at all. I was able to eat it but didn't find it to be as good as I have had before. I think it might have been the brown sugar and I only put in 1/4 cup. Next time I won't put in any brown sugar.

Texas Sheet Cake V

This cake is exactly the kind that I remember that mother would make. Very good! My husband and I love it. It is very moist and rich and so yummy! It is hard to resist the icing--it is the best! It took me a little longer than 10 minutes but it usually takes me longer to make things than it says. I will be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!

Sour Cream Chicken and Stuffing

I made this last night and I admit I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. I cut up chicken into bite-size pieces cooked them until they were no longer pink. Then I baked it all for about 30 minutes. I also didn't add curry because I didn't have any. I don't know why anyone would think this would be too dry because with the soups and sour cream it was very creamy. I might add another box of stuffing next time so it won't be quite as creamy. Pretty good and I will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe.

Easy Chicken Enchiladas

These were very good. I used a little more chicken than called for so it made a few more than 6 rolled tortillas. I also used a homemade salsa so I think that made it even better. I have made it a couple of times now and it will be a family favorite. If you like a creamy chicken sauce with beans in your tortilla then you should like this one. Thanks for the recipe.

These were really good. They had the right amount of sweetness and taste of onion. They could have been cooked longer if someone has the time to do so to make them thicker but they were fine as is. I will be making these again.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

I made this last night and it was fabulous! My husband wasn't expecting much but he loved it. I had only 4 filets so I have extra cheese mixture left over and saved it so I can make this again. I didn't change a thing. Very good!

Anniversary Chicken I

I made this for my husband and myself. My husband just could say it was different and didn't know if that was good or bad. I didn't have teriyaki sauce so I used soy sauce instead but I don't think that would have changed the taste that much from what it should have tasted like. So I don't know if I will be making this again. Thanks for the recipe though.

Barbecued Beef

This was very good! I made this for a potluck and everyone raved about it. After I took out the meat to shred it, I added flour to the sauce to take away the grease. It turned out very nicely after I mixed in the shredded meat. I will be making this again! Thanks for the recipe.

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake III

This is so good and so easy to make! I haven't made one of these in years and it tasted just like I remember. I did add a teaspoon of vanilla like another reviewer suggested. This will satisfy your sweet tooth especially with a little of ice cream thrown in. Thanks for the recipe!

Baked Ziti I

This was pretty good. It makes A LOT so take that into consideration. Next time I will either half it or make it in a store bought foil container which is bigger than a regular 9x13 dish. I wanted to add more cheese but couldn't because I was running out of room. I also added about 3 cloves of garlic, 2 T of Italian seasoning, and some basil to the meat mixture. I made it for a dinner party and everyone seemed to really like it and one person wanted the recipe. Thanks for sharing!

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

This was absolutely fabulous! I made it for a dinner party and everyone loved it. My husband ate seconds and thirds and raved about it. He has never done that with a salad before. The dressing makes quite a bit and so I had to add extra spinach with it and next time I will probably add even more spinach or just not put in all of the dressing. Overall it was a relatively easy salad to prepare. I also made up the dressing the night before to save time before the party began. Very good recipe!
