Pasta Lasagna

This was pretty good! I did up the hamburger to 1 lb and put in 2 jars of sauce. This is a good base recipe but it does need some extra flavors added. I added 2 garlic cloves and put a little parsley in the cheese mixture. Next time I will probably add a little basil or oragano to give it even more flavor.

Tiny Pecan Tarts

I made these for a friend who was requesting pecan tarts although I used muffin pans because I didn't have tart pans. That was the only change I made to the recipe. They were a little time consuming but worth it. The recipe made 18 muffins and there wasn't a problem with having too much filling and not enough dough. It turned out about right. They had a nice crunchy top with a gooey inside. Very good!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

These were great sugar cookies! I ended up just rolling the dough into balls and baked them that way. They didn't spead out flat like most of the cookies that I bake. I made a powdered sugar frosting to put on top which made them even better. I will be making these again and again because my husband couldn't get enough of them.

All Day Apple Butter

This turned out very good! I used Red Delicious apples since they were a little cheaper. I think those are good apples for this because they are already a little mushy. I took pint jars to family members and they all raved about it.

These were very good! We had a cookie exchange at work and I made these. They were a hit. They came out soft and chewy even though I had to bake them for a little bit longer than the recipe says.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Chicken In Sour Cream

I am giving this a 4 only because my husband really liked it. He put his over rice. I thought the taste of the dill was a bit much. I probably will make again just because my husband liked it so much. My 2 year old also really liked it.

Meat Loaf Pie

This was just OK. I might make again someday but it wasn't anything out of this world. I made as is so the hamburger mixture tasted just like regular ground hamburger so if I do make it again I would double the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce like some had suggested. The mashed potato part was the best.

Quick Crescent Taco Pie

This was pretty good! I did omit the olives because I am not a fan of them and I only put the chips on top instead of in the middle as well. Both my husband and 2 year old liked it as well so I will be making it again.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

This was pretty tasty especially with all of the yummy things in it. I did make a couple changes though. I only used 2 tomatoes, used mozzarella cheese, and doubled the dressing because I don't like dry pasta. The dressing is good but I think next time I will just use a regular Italian dressing.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

These were really good! A word of caution though--they are really rich. I usually love really rich foods but these were over the top rich! A little piece goes a long way. I thought that the chocolate chips that you add to the cream cheese mixture was a bit much but my husband insists that I leave them in when I make them again.

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

The vinegar taste really overpowered the chicken. I usually like the taste of balsamic vinegar but I guess just not with chicken. My husband did like it better than I did but I probably won't be making this again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

This was really good! I have never made a chicken pot pie using a pie crust so that was a nice change. I used frozen veggies but fresh would have been even better. My young son doesn't like his veggies very much but he ate them in the pot pie. That is always a major plus for me!

Chocolate Cappuccino Cheesecake

I made this for husband for Valentine's Day and I would prefer a different type of cheesecake but this was really good. The only thing I changed was that I added 4 teaspoons of coffee and 1/2 cup of cream since I didn't have any of the liquor. After baking and cooling off in the oven, the cake came out looking perfect with no cracks in it all. If you like chocolate cheesecake, this is the perfect recipe for you.

Cream Cheese Pickles

I made these for a BUNKO party and everyone loved them! They were a hit. They might be a little time consuming to make but so easy. I used one jar of baby dill pickles, a package each of turkey and ham Buddig (sp?) lunch meat and not quite one 8 oz block of cream cheese that was softened. These are great for the pickle lovers!

Artichoke Chicken

This was yummy but I did make some changes. I added some frozen spinach and did like the other reviews advised--I used sour cream with the mayo to measure the 3/4 cup. Very good. I will making this again.
