Monkey Bread with a Twist

This was good! I took this to a work lunch and everyone really liked it. I will be making this again.

The ingredient changes I made was to use fresh spinach instead of canned and used cream intead of half and half. I also mixed mixed all the ingredients together except for the moz cheese and cut the chicken up before baking it. I then paired it with linguine because it needs either a pasta or rice to go with it. When making it I didn't know if it would be "saucy" enough but it was just right. My family really liked it except for my 11 year old but he can be pretty picky. I will be making it again.

Berry Crumb Bars

These are so good if you like raspberries! I took them to a group meeting and everyone liked them. I don't think I changed a thing.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These were yummy! I would have liked to have a little more of the pumpkin flavor though. I have made them a couple times and everyone seems to really like them.

Blackberry Cobbler II

This was pretty good. I used frozen blackberries and used a little more than it called for. I baked it in a 8x8 pyrex dish also since I don't have a cast iron skillet. It turned out a little runny but that might have been because the blackberries were frozen. If I make again, I will add more cornstarch to it.

Chicken Milano

This was pretty good. A little more salt and pepper was added to the sauce to make it more tastier. It took awhile to get the cream sauce to thicken but other than that it was a good recipe. I did double the sauce as suggested by others so we would have enough for the pasta.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I came home from work to find my husband and 3 year old son making these cookies so he can do them anyone can! They turned out great and I think what made them really good was the cinnamon. He did some white chocolate chips that needed to be used up which added to the great flavor. We will have to make them again.

Unbelievable Chicken

This was OK but not "unbelievable." I broiled the chicken instead of grilling it but I wouldn't think it make that much difference.

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

This is awesome! I was a little overwhelmed at first with the thought of making this but it turned out to be pretty easy. Since I had purchased 2 pie crusts I ended up making 2 back to back. I took one to work and kept the other at home. Everyone loved it. You definitely need to mix each egg for the full 5 minutes to get the right consistency. I will be making this again.

Skillet Meatloaf

I messed a little bit and added the whole can of tomato soup into the meat mixture. Because of that it was hard to keep the meat into loaves while I was cooking them in the skillet. But the taste was still really good. The only thing I will do differently next time will be to double the sauce. Since I had already used the tomato soup, I substituted ketchup. The sauce was very good! I will be making this again. It was nice to have meatloaf but not have to wait an hour to have it.

Bacon Wrapped Bratwurst

I am usually not a fan of brats but these were so good! Someone made them for a potluck at work and I will be making these myself soon! The sweetness of the brown sugar was just right.

American Lasagna

My friend brought me this after I had a baby and my family had to have the recipe. This is very good and I can be picky with lasagna. I like a lot of sauce and cheese and this recipe has it. I used 2 lbs of hamburger so I used about a cup of jarred sauce to make up for it. I also used the no-boil lasagna noodles because I hate to boil the regular kind. It is a little time consuming to make but well worth it. Next time I might use sausage instead to give it a different twist.

German Chocolate Cheesecake

This was fabulous! It took a lot of prep but well worth it. I didn't realize how important it was to constantly stir the frosting while it is cooking. It burned a little on the bottom but it still turned out great and no one could tell. This was my gift to my father for Father's Day and it was loved by everyone. It does take a lot of eggs though. I will be making this again!

Beef Nacho Casserole

This was really good for a taco/ nacho casserole. I have made several with different variations and this one is a keeper. The only changes I made was to use sour cream instead of Miracle Whip and I mixed the beef mixture with the sour cream and put that in the bottom of the pan, then the chips, then put the cheese on top. I will be making this again and again.

BBQ Country Style Ribs

I cooked the ribs exactly as stated. I just did a different sauce. I wouldn't change the cooking method at all. They came out very tender.

This was a pretty good sauce as is but next time I will decrease the amount of ketchup to 2 cups and decrease the amount of brown sugar to 1/2 cup. I will also add some red pepper flakes to make it more spicy. But my husband and 2 year old loved the ribs.

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

This was so good! The glaze that I bought wasn't quite as much as called for but it didn't matter. The whole family loved it and I can't wait to make it for the Forth of July BBQ. I am sure everyone there will love it too.

Waffles I

These were pretty good. I was out of Bisquick so I made these. Bisquick is definitely easier but these were fine when I was in a pinch. My husband did prefer the Bisquick ones though.

Barbecue Beef Cups

These were really good! I upped the hamburger to 1 lb and upped the BBQ sauce. They were easy to make and not too time consuming. Although I will smash out the dough a little bit before I put them in the muffin pans because I think it will be a easier to work with. Very good and I will be making these again.
