Great recipe! Very flavorful! Only real change I made was adding a few extra cloves of garlic.

Easy Spinach Lasagna with White Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2009
Wonderful Recipe! Added mozzarella to each layer, and parmesan on top. Also lightly sauted the mushrooms with 3-4 cloves of minced garlic. I plan on leaving out the milk next time, the sauce I used was Classico afredo with roasted red peppers. Used whole wheat noodles and soaked them in warm water about 15 minutes before layering. Everybody raved!

Chinese Dan-Bin

Very good recipe! Was wonderfully simple as well. We left out the bacon as we don't do meat, and put salsa and sour cream over the top. My girlfriend wasn't expecting to really like it but we just ate it for the second night in a row by her request. Might add onion next time. The diced chilis I've seen mentioned in other reviews would be good as well I think.

Sesame Udon Noodles

Was quite tasty. We didn't have any peanut oil so I used some creamy peanut butter instead. I think I will like it better with the oil. I also added some rice cooking wine. I will probably be adding cubed tofu to it next go round but all round a solid recipe.

Very good recipe. My girlfriend and I have made tea eggs twice now and kind of merged this and the other recipe from this site. The first batch was a bit too salty, but this new batch is fantastic!

Coconut Curry Tofu

A wonderful recipe! Has become one of our staple dinners. We like to serve it with flour tortillas, to help cool the heat a little and because it was the closest we had to naan the first time we made the recipe.

Well, I put the sauce over chicken with broccoli and mixed peppers. And decided to chop some peanuts and sprinkle over the top to garnish. But the main part of the recipe was really the sauce. And man was the sauce fantastic! Might try the tofu and spinich at some point (couldn't last night cause my mom won't eat tofu) but this was the best peanut sauce I've ever had. My family raved!

Easy Crabmeat Enchiladas

An ok base recipe. After taking most of the suggestions listed, plus a few changes of my own it barely resmbled the original. I dont think this would be very good as is but is a decent starting place.

Easy Alfredo Sauce II

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2008
The flavor on this was great. My pasta was a little too cool to melt the butter so I just put the plate with the pasta and sauce in the microwave for 30seconds. It did end up pretty thin, so I think I might add a little less cream next time and maybe a little bit of flour or something to thicken it. Will definatly do this again though!

Zesty Grilled Veggies

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
Fantastic! Was making this for just my girlfriend and myself so I used 2 Zucchini, and one of each pepper. Added low-fat Italian dressing (the normal kind looked too oily) until it was lightly coated, and did the same with fresh parmesan, not the kraft stuff. Also added a very small amount of course chopped onions to the veggies.

Barbecue Tofu Sandwiches

Reviewed: May 26, 2008
This recipe was tasty but seemed to be lacking something. I'll do it again but perhaps differently next time. **EDIT: Remade this last night but cut the tofu into about 1/4 inch cubes, added them to a veggie broth and heated for a few minutes. Then put them into a pan with hot oil. Did the cooking the same, but added a little of the veggie broth to help stretch the bbq sauce. Then served it on bread open faced. My girlfriend didnt like it so much last time but this time she loved it!

Orange Vanilla Blend

Very tasty recipe. I've started quartering the recipe and freezing the banana and tofu (and usually some strawberries) in ziplock bags for a quick breafast. It doesn't work as well that way but is still quite good. Also good with an extra spash of lemon extract (darn bottles look similar at 5am)

Spicy Bean Salsa

This was amazing. My dad always wants our family to eat black eyed peas for new years so the rest of us have to find recipes to put them in that make them tastier. I'll certainly be getting my dose this year now that I found this recipe.

Salmon with Fruit Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2008
The salmon itself had good flavor, and I liked the salsa for the most part, but the peppers bothered me for some reason. They seemed a bit too crunchy. I'm thinking when I do this again I'll add a little lime and let the salsa mix marinade overnight and hopefully get slightly more tender. Im thinking the flavors would be more complimentery with chicken. My dad would probably vote 6 stars if he could.

Jalapeno Hummus

Very good recipe. Was a little spicier then I like but took it to a gathering and it vanished so fast! I loved it with the chedder triscuits we had, the others preferred the other flavored triscuits, but the flavors kinda added to it.

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
I love this recipe! I ended up putting in 2 and a half to 3 cloves of garlic (kept grabbing small ones). It was much more lemony then I expected but I liked that. Gave it a fresh taste. And the peppers definatly added greatly. I intend to make this often.

Vegetable and Tofu Stir-fry

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2007
Wonderful recipe! I tried this tonight and it turned out great! I did mess up on the sauce and put all the ingredients in at once, so it was a bit thin, but still tasted good. My culinary adviser (a.k.a. Mom) suggested using sherry instead of the vinegar. Will definately make again.

Cucumber Tuna Boats

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
This is fantastic! I tried it last night. I used an English cucumber which didnt have much seeds so i think next time i would chop large pieces of the cucumber and just mix it in, and eat it as a salad, though the boats is a great presentation and make it a good finger food. With a regular cucumber i would definitaly do the boat idea. Would also be good on a sandwich with just sliced cucumber. Anyway, a great overall recipe!
