Marshmallow Chocolate Chip Pie

This tasted like creamy chocolate marshmallows, but very good. I used chocolate chips but ran them through the food processor. I think this would be good with about 1 1/2 ounces of white chocolate peppermint Hershey's kisses instead of the chocolate.

Classic She Crab Soup

This was delicious and my 6-year-old loved it! Living near Dallas, TX, though, crab was really expensive. I think it would still be good with a less expensive fish.

Celery Smashers with Cream Gravy

I didn't get the celery sauteed enough, so it was still a little crunchy in the potatoes, but even still, my kids who don't like mashed potatoes OR gravy, loved this and couldn't stop eating it!

Bubble Pizza

I can't believe I'd never seen this recipe before! The easiest wasy to make a "pizza" that will feed the family. I could easily put different toppings on different sections of the pizza to please everyone.

Okra, Corn and Tomatoes

I was looking for a way to make okra from our garden other than frying it and this is delicious! I also used onions and tomatoes from the garden and fresh corn I cut off the cob. I happened to have file powder, so this was a winner! I'd say you really don't have to cook it as long as it calls for, though.

I omitted the jalapeno and decreased the salt and pepper to 1 tsp each. This was so delicious and will now be my go-to recipe for leftover turkey! This was especially delicious since my hubby had smoked the turkey.

I left out the green onions and bell peppers since my kids don't like those much. We liked it quite a bit. One kid didn't like it as much as what I usually make. One kid liked it better. Can't win.

Valencian Savory Empanadas

These make for tasty little sandwiches. I ended up using crescent roll dough. My pizza dough had expired so it didn't work very well. Tasted great with the crescent roll dough, too.
