Berry Best Fried Pies

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
These started off good until I had to roll out the dough...it was crumbly and really hard to work with. So after I finally got it folded over the filling as best I could and put it in the oil to fry, it totally started falling apart. I thought it might still taste good, but it was just ok. I dont know if I did something wrong or what. I followed the recipe, all I did different was I halved it so I didnt have to make so many. SO I dont know what happened, but I wont be making it again, sorry.

Cashew Chicken Wraps

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
These were really good! I made them exactly as written and the only thing I would change next time is I think I'd do half honey mustard and half regular mustard, but thats just my taste. They still are great as is. I know I'll be making these a lot, easy and delicious!

This is seriously the best veggie sandwich! I made exactly as written except used sharp cheddar instead of smoked. Super yummy! I loved it and will be making this a lot Im sure!

Sweetened Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
This was first time I made whipped cream. Very easy and so good! I used almond extract instead of vanilla and had it on the "hasty chocolate pudding" from this site. Very yummy!

This was super easy, the consistency was perfect and it was pretty tasty! I had it with some crushed up oreos and some "sweetened whipped cream" from this site. Yummy!

Panzanella Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
I loved this! I didnt think it would be as good as it was, but it was great! I used some leftover "French bread rolls to die for" from this site which was perfect. I didnt have any fresh basil, so I used a little dried, didnt have any olives, and only had shredded mozzarella. Very tasty! Definitely will be making this again!

Sugar Glazed Walnuts

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2008
I wanted to make these basically just so I could recreate the McDonalds fruit and walnut salad here at home...these were perfect! And so easy to make! I did reduce the cooking time in the microwave by half, so I only microwaved them for 4 minutes, stirring every minute for the first 2 minutes, then every 30 seconds for the last 2. Then I put them in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes. They turned out perfect! I definitely will be making these all the time!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
Yum! This was great! I used frozen precooked shrimp, so I thawed them, made the sauce in the pan then threw the shrimp in there to heat up. Came out perfect! I didnt have any parsley and cut back on the dijon just a tad. Definitely will make this again!

Artichoke Melts

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
Ok, so I'm the first to review this and it was pretty tasty! The only changes I made were that I used white bread (didnt have the other). Next time I make this I might sprinkle a little salt on the eggs. Obviously you have to like artichokes and dijon mustard to like this, which I do, so I thought it was very good!

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2008
I finally made this! It was so fast and yummy! I used mango and I halved the recipe because I was only making it for me plus I was using my tiny food processor. It was so good, I know I'm going to be making this all the time now. I cant wait to do the strawberry!

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
Ok yum! This was sooo good! I have never had bananas foster and this was so easy to make, I loved it! I didnt have any nuts or rum (I know thats a big part of this recipe, but I didnt have any and I wanted to make this anyway!) So since I didnt have any rum I just added a little more vanilla and a little water. Still very tasty.

Easy French Dip Sandwiches

Very quick and easy and yummy! I spread a little butter and sprinkled a little onion powder on the bread and toasted them under the broiler. I did everything else as written except used the broiler instead of the oven.

Barbecued Ham Buns

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
This was pretty tasty. It reminded me of Arbys. I made the recipe exactly as written and I toasted the buns a little and poured a little extra sauce over the ham. I wont pour the extra sauce over next time because it made it really messy.

Ham and Pineapple Pinwheels

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
I have to say that I really liked these! I did use regular cream cheese and just put the pineapple on top of it, didnt mix it in. I think using pineapple cream cheese would be too much. And make sure you really drain your pineapple. Very yummy!

Crispy and Creamy Doughnuts

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2008
This was the first time I have ever made doughnuts and they turned out great. I halved the recipe, used butter instead of shortening and used rapid rise yeast so we wouldnt have to wait forever to eat these for breakfast. It worked wonderfully and we did some with just glaze, some with chocolate, and some with chocolate and sprinkles. The kids loved them.
