Yum!!! My husband and I loved this! I halved the sausage, but left everything else the same. Mmmm!

I've made these twice now. Once served alone with a meal, and I made them once with a sausage gravy from this site. Both times the biscuits turned out sooo flaky and delicious!! I have found the biscuit recipe that I will stick with. I did leave out the cream of tartar both times.

These were very good. I made mini muffins out of them, which made 48 muffins, and cooked them for 15 minutes. To make the topping more crumbly I added an extra tablespoon of flour and tablespoon and a half of sugar to the streusel topping. Kids loved them!!
