I make two loaves every Saturday. I use the whole amount of sugar and at other times I cut it by half and it still is great. I use my kitchen Aide mixer to make this bread. The bread freezes very well. I give away the extra loaf often and everyone loves it.

Very easy and basic. My kids loved them and did not miss the white flour. I did not use blueberries, instead I dropped in some chochlate chips after I put them on my griddle and before I flipped them. I doubled the recipe and froze the rest. The leftovers heated up well from the freezer.

Great taste. Wonderful. Sear the non scale side first, then turn. It locks in the taste. Cook longer on scale side down and tent with a piece of foil to complete cooking time. The foil tent insures it is done and helps it stay moist. When I removed it from large grill pan on top of my stove the scale side stayed on the grill pan the the fish was removed easily. Looked like something from an upscale resturant.
