Almost 30, geting married October 2006, and love food! If you don't you are lying, and haven't tried my cooking:^)All that eating but am still pretty thin! I really love when I have time to plan cooking a little more, so when I don't have much time or want to try something new, this website always comes in handy.
My favorite things to cook
These are also some of my favorites to eat! What's the fun of making them without enjoying them in the end?...
Chicken ala whatever,
Quesidillias-Chicken or Black Bean,
Soups, and fun appetizers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making wedding soup! Most people don't know what wedding soup even is, but around here, not knowing would make you a foreigner. Takes a few days to make, but it's worth it in the end. My fiance and I are getting really good at it now, and are asked to make it every holiday.
My finance and I like throwing spaghetti to the wall once in a while to test if it's too done!
I introduced my mom to making Cream-cheese mashed potatoes for thanksgiving when I was a kid, and now we have them every year.
My cooking triumphs
I think the compliments on the wedding soup have to be on the top of the list.
My vegetable lasagna.
Cream of Broccoli soup.
I think I have an instinctual cooking ability, because I always seem to surprise myself, especially when I am throwing ingredients together, and then it comes out awesome.
My cooking tragedies
Getting burned on my arm 3 years ago as I was taking a casserole out of the oven! Nice line on the top of my forearm is still there--smooth :^)
