I am a Stay at Home Mom with 2 small children. I love cooking, gardening and playing on the computer. Pretty much anything from Allrecipes.com. I especially like to make desserts and yeast breads. Since I bought a convection oven, my baked goods have come out so much better. My favorite tradition I guess would be to get everyone in the family involved in the cooking process. Food is such a vital element in closing the gaps within a family. Everyone eats! Is seeing my 9-year old daughter so passionate about cooking. She has acquired a number of kid's cooking books and she begs to make something from them every day. Her favorite cookbook is "There's a Chef in My Soup" by Emeril Lagasse. I have yet to see a recipe from that book come out anything but delicious. I tend to undercook things. I once brought one of my famous "Honey Oat" breads to a get together only to slice into it and see the middle was still doughy. We made the best of it by slicing it up and toasting it in a hot oven. Worked out well in the end.
