Spaghetti Pie III

Very easy and very good! Called for all the ingredients I had on hand. I added about 2 large handfulls of fresh spinach to the cheese mixture which I mixed with the hot pasta and put in the bottom of the dish ... topped with the sauce mixture, cheddar and a little parmesan. Thank you!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

These are very yummy! I'm only giving 4 stars because I could not get the butter/sugar to get thick and gooey without adding brown sugar and a little maple syrup. I'll def. make these again.

Cheesecake Brownies

I can't give this a 5 since the base is a boxed mix but they were really good! I used raw sugar in the cheesecake mixture and saved 1/3 of the brownie batter to put on top. That way, it swirled much easier and looked prettier. Plus, some of the cheesecake filling is sort of in the middle, which is yummy. In a 9x13, mine only took 25 min. in my convection oven. This is a great recipe to go to when you need something quick and don't have time for a from-scratch dessert. Thank you!

Very, very good! I did have to make a few adjustments, thus 4 stars. I added salt, pepper, seasoned salt for more flavor. Cooked the cabbage with 1 red onion and garlic in lots of butter. Cubed a pork shoulder roast instead of chops. This was a good base recipe. Thank you!

Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Very good and very easy to make! I skipped the zucchini simply because I forgot to put it on my grocery list. Followed everthing else in recipe. Used Barilla dried 3-cheese tortellini. Added to my recipe box...definately will make again! Thank you!

Chicken Wild Rice Soup

I didn't alter the ingredients at all. I did double the recipe, cooked the chicken & rice in the broth. I used Chardonnay at the end of the recipe because I had it on hand. I have to say...I've made alot of different soups and this is by far the best one yet! I can't wait for my husband to get home and have some! He's gonna love it!!!

Imitation Crab Salad

YUM! I just made this to take on a bicycle ride/picnic and it is fantastic! I skipped the bread since my boys will eat theirs on sandwiches. Used scallions in place of onions and used Olive Oil Mayo/Light Sour Cream to lighten it up a bit. I also added a few drops of hot sauce and of worsteschire with a sprinkling of Old Bay. I've been wondering what to do with the krab I had in the freezer and this was just the thing I needed.

Black Bean and Corn Pasta with Chicken

As is, I have to give 3 stars because it was just too plain. I added 1 c. sour cream and chili powder. I left out the chicken by mistake and we didn't even need it. My boys are requesting this again.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

I used whole tenders rather than cutting up breasts. Marinated about 6 hours. These were easy, delicious, moist and looked beautiful on my pewter platter once grilled. Used leftovers in a spinach salad with dark cherries and celery seed dressing the next day. Very,very good recipe!

Venison Bacon Burgers

My husband said this was probably the best burger he ever had! I cut the bacon up with my kitchen shears and cooked it with the onion and 2 cloves of garlic. Other than that, I didn't change a thing. I'm thankful for the 3 burgers we have left over for lunch today!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Super easy and YUMMY!!! I used only 1/2c. sugar because the glaze is so sweet and the strawberries were, too (straight from an Amish farm). I made this twice in two days and everyone loved it. I just made it a third time and used strawberry swirled pound cake and blueberries/blueberry glaze. With a big, fresh sprig of mint on top, it looks just beautiful!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

these are very good! i only rated them a 4 bacause they're so stinkin' unhealthy (processed mix, oil, ugh!) they were easy to make and turned out great! i used 2 boxes devil's food cake mix, 4 eggs, 1/4 cup canola oil, and 2 c. chopped Reese's cups. i'll be saving this recipe in my files! :) thank you!

Cocoa Banana Bars

Simply Divine! I, too, like some other reviewers, added choc. chips to the banana batter. They were so yummy! My 4 year old son ate 10 in 2 days! Thank you for a great recipe!

Lemon-Lime Cupcakes

This recipe was exactly what I was looking for! I made a couple of fun St. Pat's changes. I didn't have lemon-lime soda so I used Jones' Green Apple (which is green) and added a little green food paste. FUN! I also made a cream cheese buttercream for on top and dipped a tiny shamrock cookie cutter in the food coloring and dabbed it on top. FUN AGAIN! My boys loved them. I'll definatly make this again without making changes. Thank you for a great recipe!
