Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
I used my cookie scoop, and formed the ball from that so the dough didn't get too soft. I also used the back of a round 1/2 teaspoon to make the indent in the cookie. I used black raspberry fruit spread, (not as sweet) and after tasting them I decided it didn't need the glaze. I'll make these often!

These are soooo yummy! I did use less, orange zest, because I just wanted a hint of orange. Thanks for the recipe latte_lover218!

Vidalia Sweet Onion Dip

Delish! I used asiago cheese instead of parmesan, and I caramelized the onions first. Also you really have to drain the oil off otherwise it will be too greasy.

Original Irish Cream

We loved this! I Used 1/4 c. heavy cream and 3/4 c. half and half. I heated the half and half added the coffee granules, chocolate syrup, vanilla and almond extracts and mixed it well. I used 2 tsp. vanilla and 1/8 tsp. almond extract, and only 1 c. of whiskey. Fabulous!

I have been making these for years, and love them. I use asiago cheese instead of parmesan (more flavor) and add some garlic powder also. Soooo good!

Creme Brulee French Toast

This was soooo good! I used cinnamon mini crossiants cut in half. The croissants have cinnamon sugar and walnuts in the middle so because they are already sweet I cut the brown sugar in half, it was perfect! Thanks SANDIPANTS ♥

Teriyaki Sauce and Marinade

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
Hi! I am the submitter of this recipe, and this is an AUTHENTIC teriyaki recipe. In Japan they do not use less sodium soy sauce. I myself do, but I wanted to stay true to the recipe when I submitted it. So, if you are the type of person who isn't used to salt, or prefers an americanized sweeter teriyaki, this may not be for you :) Enjoy ♥

Cilantro, Avocado, Tomato, and Feta Salad

Hi I am the submitter of this recipe, the cilantro bunches where I shop are fairly small, hence the 3 bunches. So as far as the cilantro goes add it to your taste! Enjoy ♥

I didn't use a bread bowl, just make sure to drain the liquid from peppers if not using a bread bowl. I used asiago cheese instead of parm more flavor and medium cheddar, next time I'll use 1 cup of chedddar. I also added 1/2 tsp of garlic powder. Very good! I'll make this often, thanks Happywife!!! ♥

Scrumptious Frosted Fudgy Brownies

Hi! I am the submitter of this recipe and when you simmer the heavy cream and sugar, make sure you see tiny bubbles around the edge of the pot. Oh, and you can stir the frosting in the refrigerator often, it doesn't have to be every few minutes. Enjoy ♥

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I don't know why I didn't make this sooner. LOVED it! I used black raspberry spredable fruit and 1 tbsp. bwn sugar, since the spreadable fruit isn't as sweet as preserves etc. It was to die for! I used fuji apples and diced fresh peeled peaches in addition to what the recipe calls for. I served with Stacy's Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips. ♥

I butterflied them stuck them in a grill basket and grilled them. I grilled them shell side up first and brushed the butter mixture on them when I turned them over. The shell cradled the butter mixture and the prawns where fabulous. I didn't use the parmesan and they were still great.
