It's my husbands favorite bread I make. Great with pastas and soups...yumm Looks pretty with a little rosemary sprinkled on top after brushing a little olive oil when still warm

Jackie's Sausage Soup

Very healthy and filling, great for left overs. My husband loves spicy foods though so I added some hot sauce. One of those soups that becomes a family staple and made again and again over the years.

Molasses Sugar Cookies

It had a little too strong of a buttery taste so I may use less next time... but they were too good not to make again. Maybe next time I might use a little cream cheese frosting in place of the sprinkles.

Waldorf Turkey Sandwiches

I was so surprised that my husband like it as much as I did. It is a keeper. I added a little more yogurt and mayonnaise though than it called for because by the next day it had gotten a little dry.

Best when you can eat it warm with butter. So yummy. I made them as a side dish for "Jacki's Sausage Soup". My husband loved them both.

Wonderful treats. I wouldn't call them cookies though. They're soft like muffins. I added cream cheese frosting on top which made them perfect. These are keepers for sure.

Curried Wild Rice and Squash Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
A wonderful soup...the only changes I made was to puree only half of squash and onions to add texture. I also added a can of chickpeas to add a little protein. I thought the orange juice would give it a funny taste, but it gave it the perfect amount of an acidity needed to balance the flavors.
