About this Cook
I'm married to a wonderful husband, and no children yet. We would like to get a cat though :)
My favorite things to cook
I love sweets! I also love lots of veggies in all types of foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Nonie's biscotti My mom's Christmas baked goodies and her broiled fish dishes and soups
My cooking triumphs
Finding two soups/ chili's that my husband loves
My cooking tragedies
When I tried to make homemade gnocchi and forgot to put the egg in... it was a gooey mess in the pan and I had to throw it all away and start again.

White Chocolate Fruit Tart
I may have over cooked the crust and needed to use a larger pan because the crust had great flavor but too thick. It was still a huge hit and I will be making it again

Pumpkin Wheat Honey Muffins
I cut way back on the oil, used only one of the egg yokes and two whites to cut back on the calories.... very yummy, everyone loved them. I will make again

Salmon Broccoli Bake
I enjoyed this recipe but my husband thought it was just okay... a little on the dry side.
