Mr. Goodbar Frosting

This did not turn out at all. It solidified very quickly and was not spreadable. I added some milk to thin the consistency but it did not help much. I suggest taking brownies out of the oven first and then making frosting. The brownies will still be hot when frosting is done.

Chewiest Brownies

I made these with the following changes: decreased sugar to 1 cup and baked them in an 11x7 pan and baked for 41 minutes. The texture was perfect! I will make again but I will decrease cocoa...it was a little too strong. Great, fudgy texture.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This is a very quick and easy recipe. I made a few changes and it was delicous. I cut the sugar to 1 cup, used applesauce instead of oil and used egg whites. I baked it in two loaf pans instead of three and baked it for 45 minutes. I make this often.

Strawberry Refrigerator Cake

The flavor was very good but it was such a messy cake to serve that I am not sure I will make it again. It is not a pretty cake. If I do make it again, I will make it as a trifle which I think would be very good and much more presentable.

Easy Apple Coffee Cake

Excellent! Such a delicious and super moist cake. I added apple pie spice and also followed previous advice and mixed the apples with the cinnamon/sugar. I layered batter, apples, batter, apples and it was delicious. My mother couldn't believe it started with a box! I will absolutely make again and again!

Ribboned Fudge Cake

Very easy to make and I will make again. However, the cream cheese layer fell to the bottom and the batter was too much for the bundt pan. I did not use a glaze and it really did not need one. Very easy!

Pumpkin Cake II

This is incredibly easy and one of the best cakes I've ever tasted! I am a big pumpkin fan and this satisfied me. I made the following changes: used a 9x13, 2tsp cinnamon, a whole can of pumpkin, reduced to sugar to 2/3cup, 1/2 tsp each of nutmeg and allspice and replaced oil with applesauce. EXTREMELY moist and tasty! Doesn't need icing but I cheated and used a tub of cream cheese frosting. Will absolutely make again....this has soared to my favorite recipes list!

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies I

Really awful! I tried to follow the suggestions above but these were still a disaster! They smelled good while baking but that was it! A big disappointment...I ended up throwing away the 1st batch and the rest of the dough.
