Sunday Afternoon Slow-Cooked Spare Ribs
I just tried this recipe today and was very good. I had baby back ribs that I wanted to just cook over stove top so I tried this recipe. I did not boil the ribs; I removed all visible fat, sprinkled chinese five spices then browned them and followed the recipe without the seafood seasoning and nutmeg. After 1 1/2 hours, it was done. Sauce was thick and very good. I will definitely do this again.

Chicken and Eggplant Alfredo
It was very good and my husband liked it a lot. I made my own Alfredo sauce using evaporated milk instead of cream. I also panfried the eggplant and chicken hoping it will be less greasy than when deep fried and drained them well but it was still very greasy after baking. I have to skim the grease before serving. However, my husband wants me to make it again. I have to admit it was really good.
