Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes
This is the best recipe I've ever tried, and I have cooked up many a dish of au gratin potatoes. I tinkered like many, sauteed the onions prior to pairing with postatoes, and cut smaller slices, quarter rings. I added one additional cup of cheese and poured it over each thin layer of potatoes. I added the bread crumb topping and cheese on top. It sounds like a lot of changing but it isn't...the base recipe is fantastic!
