Single working mother of three sons. Daughter, sister, friend. I love cooking meals to feed large groups like stews and gumbo's. I love cajun cooking. At all of the holiday's my mother and three sisters all have a specific dish that we each cook and no one else ever makes that dish so that we must rely upon each other to be there to bring the dish. My best dish yet is a meatball fricasse'. My first attempt, I almost burned my foot off, but the fricasse' was a huge hit. When I first began cooking I had wanted to cook up some bacon in the microwave but was not sure how long to microwave. I asked my husband while he was sleeping and he said 3 to 5 min. which sounded to me like 35 min.. We lost that microwave.
