YUMMY!!!! The only thing I do differently is to cut back on the sugar (by 1/4 C) if the bacon I'm using is the sugar cured or maple kind vs. the hickory smoked.

GOOD STUFF! I added about a Tbsp of basalmic vingear to mine and they were gone in minutes! Can't wait to try again and let it set overnight.

This had a really good flavor but I did not like the texture that the pasta added to it (I had no udon noodles and use regular pasta) I would say if you are going to make this go the extra mile and get all the right (original) ingredients.

even beter than the restaurant stuff cause you can adjust the spiciness yourself! I used this with all stuff from my freezer, spinach, ground sausage, and southern style hashbrowns for the potatoes... so, so good. go, make it... now!

YES!!! Finally a way to get my husband to eat one of my favorites... the only change I made was to use the cut green beans, instead of the french cut, so that my little one could pick them up easier. DELISH!!!

Pork in Peanut Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2007
I REALLY recommend tasting this sauce before you use it... lest you waste a perfectly good pork loin, like i did. I am a total salt fiend but this was so salty i wanted to die, and i didnt even add any chicken broth. I don't know what I thought peanut butter sauce should taste like but this just wasn't it for me. sorry.

A tip I learned from some Korean friends... when cutting the nori use a sharp blade dipped in water, it will make the knife slide right through instead of tearing the nori. Re-wet for each slice or two.

Angel Hair Pasta Salad

This did NOT go over well in my house. My husband called it slimey and said it reminded him of fake brains at Halloween. I was not a fan of the uncooked green onion, biting into one make the whole bite taste overwhelmingly of onion. Bummer cause it sounded so good.

Easy Mushroom Rice

If you are a mushrom over I would HIGHLY recommend double/ or tripling the amount of mushrooms in this dish. I always use fresh ones and sautee them just until they start to wilt and then pour the mushrooms and the juices into the rice.

I have yet to meet a person who didn't LOVE this and beg for the recipe. It is very filling (and addictive) so beware of serving it as an appitizer if you are serving a big meal. Also makes EXCELLENT leftovers, toss it in the microwave and then stir it up... so good!!
