Cream Cake Dessert

I have been making this cake for several years. We have always called it Twinkie Cake. I also make it with chocolate cake mix, calling it Susie Q Cake. Cherry chip cake mix makes another wonderful cake (but no name). Very versatile recipe! The one tip I do have is to make sure you whisk the milk into the flour slowly, keeping it smooth. Then keep it stirred and cooking on med/low while thickening, as to not cause lumps.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

This is possibly one of THE best desserts I've ever eaten! Everyone who tasted it said the same thing. Very simple and quick to put together. I made it exactly as stated, but baked it for about 40-45 minutes to get it done in the middle. I think I'll experiment with swirling some raspberry or strawberry jam into the filling before putting on the top crust next time, just to chage it up a bit, even though it's perfect just the way it is. Definitely my new favorite go-to dessert!

Cream Filled Cupcakes

I've made alot of cupcakes, but I wasn't pleased with the results of this one at all. I made it just as written...wanted to try that first. Not much flavor at all to the cupcake itself..and the filling was just ok. Should've stuck with the traditional Hershey's chocolate cake recipe. Sorry.
