About this Cook
I love to cook but am now looking more toward low fat, healthy menus.
My favorite things to cook
I just love cooking a great meal. I am not overly fond of baking sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have several family traditions: Homemade noodles (kind of like Spaetzel, but not), creamy fudge, raisin dumplings, applesauce raisin cake, pot roast, etc.

Baked Pork Chops I
I'll give this a 4, but it was closer to a 3.5 according to the family. I used pork loin chops, which I thought should have been tender, and they weren't. The gravey was nice and went well with the rice. If I had more tender pork and there was just a hint of another flavour in the gravey, it would be a hit.

Stuffed Mushrooms I
This might have turned out if the frozen canned crab meat didn't have shell in it! It wasn't cheap and I bought it at a fine butcher shop so I don't know if there is any better type to buy. Only a few mushrooms were eaten.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole
Wonderful side dish! I made so much I thought I would have it the next day for supper as well. Unbeknownst to me, my son pretty much finished off the leftovers that night!!
