Definitely a keeper. I made a tray of these for a bridal shower. They disappeared & people were asking who made them. Lots of flavor. Perfect recipe as is.

My family loves strawberries, but the thought of putting them in the oven did not appeal to me. The aroma while baking was pleasant. It was excellent. My son enjoyed it so much, he had to take it to go so he wouldn't miss out on his share. Topping with a little whipped cream or vanilla ice cream added to this heavenly delight.

I made this for a gathering that had many other deserts. I can't tell you my opinion other than it was easy to make, I never got a chance to try it. I got many compliments and the pan was scraped clean.
