About this Cook
I love cooking, and baking. I enjoy trying new recipes and coming up with ways to make it my own. My husband and I have recently decided to start eating healthier, and try to eat clean (no processed foods) so I enjoy coming up with new recipes to try. You can contact me at: jovana.suppa@gmail.com
My favorite things to cook
Everything. I love baking and crock pot meals because they cook while I can finish getting other stuff together and clean up the kitchen. I love making homemade pasta sauce and smelling it simmering on the stove all day. I love baking and making sweets and since we eat healthier now, I just bake and give them to friends.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cooking with my sister and mom has always been fun. Everything I learned, I learned from watching them. I hope to be as good as my sister is one day.
My cooking triumphs
Having my husband enjoy my cooking! His mother is a wonderful cook, so I was scared to follow in her footsteps. So far, so good though!
My cooking tragedies
Trying to show off for my husband (then boyfriend) by cooking at Thanksgiving and I accidentally burned my arm on the oven. Too much wine and cooking don't mix!!! Also, I cannot for the life of me make french toast without it coming out soggy!! No matter what recipe I try, it's always soggy in the middle (no matter how long I cook it for). Any pointers are appreciated!!

Mini Meatloaves
We loved this!! I added onion, tons of spices and used a muffin pan which was perfect so that I could leave the sugar topping off of mine. I did use the topping on my husbands muffins, but I cut way back on the brown sugar and he said it was still perfectly sweet. Thanks for a great recipe! We will be using this in our regular rotation.

Butternut, Apple and Yogurt Soup
I'm giving this 4 stars because my husband enjoyed this soup, but for some reason I did not like it at all. We had it as a first course to our dinner, and my husband said it was good - but only in small doses because it was so sweet. I won't be making this again. (I followed the recipe exactly).

It's Chili by George!!
Yum. I used stewed tomatoes instead of tomato sauce. We loved it.
