Have fun with this! Add all the things you love - I used lots of radishes, and cucumbers, tequila. SUPER YUMMY! Everyone always steals the leftovers (if there are any!)

Tiramisu Layer Cake

SUPERB! Super easy to make and knocked everyones socks off! I wont make regular Tiramisu again because this recipe is so memorable. Light, full of flavor. Had fun with garnishing, tried lady fingers, pirouette cookies, cocoa, chocolate curls - anything is great. Definitely double the liqueur everywhere it calls for it. YUMMO!

There are VERY FEW dishes that I make over and over and this is one! MY MEAT AND POTATOES FAMILY LOVED IT -- just use less pepper. I hurt myself with all that heat! EXCELLENT~

Terrific base! I add lots of fresh seeded/diced cucumbers and fresh radishes. Outstanding! I eat it with a little hummus and pitas or toss with left over heated rice and squeeze some extra lemon on it - Deelish!

Gnocchi with Sage-Butter Sauce

Very nice flavor. I have a "meat and potatoes" family and they scarfed this down. I added the chicken (yeah! for one pot dinners!) and tossed in the gnocchi at the end. Quite filling! Will make again. Thank you!

HOLY WOW! This is bar-none the best banana puding I have ever had!! Everyone went nuts, when they were done, the gathered around what was left and dug in with their spoons! Changes - DEFINITELY tastes better the next day DEFINITELY delicious with 1/2 French vanilla and 1/2 Banana instant pudding And used a little more than 2 cups of milk rather than 3 - the consistancy was perfect!

Oven Baked Jambalaya

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2008
This was bar none the best jambalaya I have ever had. I had people finding me in the crowd to ask "the one who made the jambalaya" for the recipe. MAKE THE CREOLE seasoning that is linked you will love it for so much more than this. Modifications: not much - I used fresh shrimp, and layed two red snapper filets on the top while cooking. I delicately turned my rice beneath the filets and when ready to serve, stirred the filets in & they broke up through out. It was divine! I read the reviews so I new that the rice took a long time. I don't have a professional oven, just let it keep cooking, don't panic -- you will not regret making this!! OUTSTANDING ON THE YUMM-O-METER!

Lasagne Verdi al Forno

The ragu was magnificent - I will use that as a staple in some of my other recipes. I do not feel the chicken livers made much of an impact - I will leave them out next time. Garlic in the ragu is better (in my opion) plus I aded some fresh basil from the garden -yumm!! For ease - next time I will do store bought noodles.

Strawberry Blue Cheese Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2005
Everyone loved this salad at the party! I used an interesting blend of greens including spinach. I included some delicious sliced nectarines (pear would also be wonderful), and used a pear infused balsmic vingarette I whipped up. I also took the time to sugar coat my pecans the evening before. The left overs were snatched up before I could get some!! Thank you!!!!

Caramelized Onion and Blue Cheese Orzo

This was very smooth, very mild taste. It was quite good (especially coming from my highly critical brothers). We discussed the flavor and all agreed that next time we will add either some bacon pieces or even a quality sausage to really make it awesome. THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE!
