About this Cook
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every Christmas Eve, our family has veggie and steak fondu. During Packer games our family also has a mini packer party with appetizers. We like guacamole, cheese and crakers, meatballs, veggies and dip and of course ... chili.
My cooking triumphs
I make really good cookies and soups
My cooking tragedies
herb pork tenderloin ... talk about destroying a good peice of meat!

Chicken Marsala
I have made other variations of this recipe. This one made it easy and tasty, however, thickening the sauce, with heavy whipping cream really adds to the richness and using lots of mushrooms. Better Marsala wine makes the taste. This is my favorite recipe and serve it for guest often!

Sweet Potato Pie IX
I served this recipe for 7 deer hunters this season. They loved it! I did make two pies. One with the exact recipe, and one with half sugar, no vanilla and tablespoon of cinnomon. I prefered less sugar. The hunters ate up both pies before heading to bed to get up early again!

Banana Crumb Muffins
My family does not like banana's once they start turning brown. I put bananas in the freezer and when I end up with enough, I usually make this recipe. We love it!
