Maryland Pumpkin Seeds

These are good. Hard to rate pumpkin seeds as great, but we enjoyed these. Didn't really measure it out, but they turned out fine.

I printed this out in 2003 and finally made it. Now I am sorry I didn't find it earlier. This couldn't be easier to make and it is a great recipe. Maybe I'll try to mix in an herb or two next time but just as written, we enjoyed it.

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

I was nervous about the sauce and the method of cooking but I have to admit these ribs were fantastic. The sauce might use a little adjustment for my taste but these were the most tender ribs I've ever made that didn't come from the crockpot. I don't give 5 stars all that often. These were at least 5 stars though. AWESOME!!!

Fierro Chicken

This was delicious and easy. It was awesome as leftovers (5 star) and pretty good the first time around. (4-4 1/2) I did end up cooking it a little longer since I wasn't sure if 40 was enough. (Thick breasts) The chicken was very, very tender. Thank you.

Meatloaf with a Ranch Twist

I misread the directions. I completely skipped #2 and I mixed everything together. It was a pretty tasty meatloaf. I liked it more than the wife. Maybe I'll have to try it again following the directions. It was nice to not be disappointed by another meatloaf recipe from this site.

Salami Noodle Casserole

Could use a little salt and pepper baked in. Will be a repeat but not a regular. BTW I translated the 6.5 cups of noodles as a 12 oz package.

Sweet 'n' Sour Chops

I'll give it 4 stars knowing that next time I make this I will cut the pineapple juice down probably by half. I think it was a bit much. Just a bit too sweet for my liking, but wasn't bad.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Wasn't bad but certainly wasn't memorable. This is realy missing a lot. Texture is good but it needs herbs or something. I like the fried onion thing. Stuffing didn't offer much aside from texture.

Kitchen Sink Meatloaf

Fettuccini with Mushroom, Ham and Rose Sauce

Everyone ate this meal but no one was impressed. I triple checked and made sure I followed the recipe and didn't miss ingredients. This just didn't turn out anywhere near what we expected. The leftovers were better than the orignal serving at dinner.

Manicotti Alla Romana

I thought too much meat. I prefer manicotti to be cheesier. As you know going in, manicotti is a lot of work. These just weren't worth all the effort. They are good but not great. I'll make again but with half or none of the beef. The white sauce is fantastic.

Steak Tip Marinade

Um ... Wow ... this is good. Made exactly as written. I thought it would be above average, but this is great. The BBQ sauce really makes this. Don't use the cheap stuff. This blended nice. EDIT: THIS TIME used a better cut of meat (NY strip) This is only second to the "Montreal Steak Marinade" that is on the side of the bottle of Seasoning.
